It’s an understatement to say we love each other unconditionally. I mean, conditions have changed about ten thousand times, but not a day goes by that I don’t thank heaven for putting our souls so close together. Who else would send an email to me in the middle of the day like this?

This project was hanging in my brain for months, and it finally came to life last weekend! It started with a huge roll of gaffers tape and a pencil, and now it tells a different story every time I look up.

And it all started with these crazy lady sketches in my notebook…le’sigh…le’wow…

Welp, ever since I was little (ever since I was little) it looked like fun…so it’s no coincidence. ¡Viva los locos!

Took December off

With the intention on focusing on my career, I stopped posting to Fancy last month. It’s true! I approached the challenges I’d been having from several different angles and finally mustered up the courage to rock the boat a little. All of the inspiration that I would’ve chronicled here did not go unnoticed; I just redirected that energy into a new (temporary) obsession. Fortunately, everything really worked out –read: I got a promotion!!– and Fancy can live on.

Message: I can do anything if I put my mind to it…no, seriously…I have powers.
